The sermon teaches that death is ordinarily appointed to humanity because of sin, yet Christ has conquered it, and some believers may be alive at His return. For Christians, death is timely and providential: they come to the grave when God considers them spiritually complete, whether young or old. Death therefore becomes a welcomed servant who brings believers into heaven, where their entrance is celebrated by angels and the redeemed. Those outside Christ are warned that they need a changed heart and are invited to receive salvation through simple trust in Jesus and His mercy.
